Ethical standards are principles created by an organization or industry to encourage
values, which include fairness, responsibility, trust, transparency, ethical behaviors, and
kindness. These moral values offer a structure that can get used as a referral for decision-making
exercises. Ethical standards tend to be essential in a company's culture because they initiate the
criterion of behaviors that business owners and managers expect from their employees and
suppliers (Valentine, & Fleischman, 2008). Organizations don't tend to follow one logical set of
standards, but every industry has the entitlement to establish rules which are essential for their
company.
I believe that it is impossible to make global ethical standards. I agree that it is true that
cultural factors mostly influence ethical standards, therefore, with the varying cultures in the
universe, it would be inappropriate to establish global ethical standards. Cultural diversity tends
to make it challenging to create a single set of ethical standards. For instance, in China, it is illmannered to look a person directly in the eyes, while ...
