Recent history illustrates that bullying is a growing problem among today’s youth in the United States. Amanda Todd, for example, was only fifteen (15) years old when she committed suicide after being bullied by her peers for over a year.

Introduction
Bullying is an act of treating others aggressively or using force to dominate others.
Bullying occurs in different ways such as verbal defamation, physical assault or use of social
media to intimidate others with an aim of making them to what one wants. Most victims of
bullying are teenagers (Lines, 2008). For example some people may use a person’s weight to
lower their self-esteem, especially overweight teenagers.
Bullying that Amanda Todd was subjected to
Amanda Todd was a Canadian teenager who committed suicide at the age of fifteen year
as a result of being bullied. She faced cyber bullying and physical bullying especially from her
peers. Amanda cyber bullying started when he met a man in Facebook who flirted with her and
convinced her to take a picture of her topless body. Later after sometimes the man sent Amanda
the photo and it started circulating on social media which marked the begging of Amanda’s
physical bullying by her peers and schoolmates. Her schoolmates teased her, verbally harassed
