Whenever we think of the respiratory system, all that comes into our minds is breathing.
However, the respiratory system entails more than breathing. Therefore, the respiratory system
can be described as a network of organs that function in respiration, and they consist of
Nasopharynx, Nose, bronchi, trachea, larynx, and lungs. The purpose of the breathing system is
taking in oxygen and breathing out carbon dioxide through the absorption of good air as well as
getting rid of polluted air to allow our cells to oxygenate as well as providing the entire body
with the required nutrients. The first step of the respiratory system is known as external
respiration, which allows the exchange of air within the lung capillaries to take place. Therefore,
