A COMPARISON OF THE SLAVE NARRATIVES
America's history would not have a critical part without the dull section of slavery. The
abhorrence and brutalities of the mistreatment of blacks are composed down in slave accounts,
being told or composed by previous slaves themselves. Slave accounts offer a striking
understanding into the truth of being a slave (Kawash, 1997). Having an instructive tone, the
accounts represent equity amongst whites and African Americans, which are not to be dealt with
as the mediocre race, and condemn the religious bad faith of the whites. In addition, a specific
example can be followed in the vast majority of these stories as they normally outline the slave's
growing up, the separation from family and cherished companions, years of savage treatment, the
aching for flexibility and the last escape (Escott, 1979).

be dissected in. Both in The storytellers of the history of both slaves are naturally introduced to
