VARK is an acronym which means Visual, Aural, Read/write and Kinesthetic
modalities normally used for learning materials containing the required information. These
modalities encompass the day to day experience of teachers as well as students. The Visual
modality involves the illustrating of details in graphical approach like charts, maps, graphs
among others. However, the Visual modality does not include still pictures, videos, movies,
whitespace and designs. On the other hand, Aural modality which is also referred to as
Auditory modality depicts preference for audio information, that is, details that are spoken or
which can be heard. These may include web-chart, group discussion radio and using mobile
phones. Also, Read/write modality describes the use of words and hence it is the most
common among learners as well as teachers or tutors. Finally, Kinesthetic modality which is
defined as relational preference to the application of either real or simulated practice as well
as experience. This modality basically is comprised of videos, demonstrations, simulations
