So rent seeking is kinda like supporting a certain thing, just to get money out of it, for yourself. It's a concept that is shared in both economics and politics, so it's kinda hard to explain. But maybe log rolling will help. It's like when America was just getting started, many politicians held spots for people who did stuff for them, or funded one of their projects. Like, if you wash my car, and donate 20 dollars to my campaign, I"ll make sure you are on this cabinet. It's like that. What that implies about society, is that money, buys power. And when money is power, there is a lot of corruption. That's kinda all you can say. Society is promoting this idea, that yes education is important, but only because it looks important. Money is what really matters, because if you have money you have power. If you have any questions, or just want to talk about this, send me a message. I'll be happy to help.
