Career Goals
The criminal justice field is a pretty interesting one. As a result, every criminal justice
professional has specific career goals, whether short, intermediate, or long-term. One of my
career goals as a criminal justice professional is to be smart. Most of the criminal justice
agencies, like the FBI and CIA, require officers who have passed through a police academy
(Johnson et al., 2018). Therefore getting smart will be an enabling factor for me to advance my
education and eventually achieve my career goals in criminal justice. Education and experience
are smart moves that can help a criminal justice professional get ahead of others in the same field
in terms of career advancement.
