Social media is a platform that enables communication between persons or
people from different places and ethical backgrounds. Communication between persons does
not necessarily mean that they know each other; therefore, social media creates a platform to
meet and know people. Most popular sites include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp,
and Snapchat, to mention a few. The platform has both negative and positive effects on a
person, depending on how he or she chooses to use it. Sharing current news on social media
could be treated as either legit or false news. People share news to create awareness or panic,
depending on the motive of the one sharing it. News sharing could be important politically,
