Yes. Thelma did the right thing by informing her mother about her father’s drug usage.
Drug use in a family is not good especially if there are children involved. The only reason why
Thelma feels guilty about the situation is because she had to be separated from her father due to
the divorce her mother filed. Thelma’s father should have first thought of his family before
indulging in drugs publicly. He could influence his teenage daughter who might start doing drugs
because she thinks it is right because her father is doing it.
