expansion, and conquering of other nations in the surrounding. Many films have been produced
to represent the inside life in Rome and the lives of the citizens as well as the strategies used by
Roman Emperors. The films have been produced in the 20th century representing the growth and
development of Rome (Treveri, 56). For instance, some of the films coined to Rome include
Spartacus, Cleopatra, Quo Vadis, and Ben Hur. The films have a similar plot and contain
different legends that participated in the evolution and development of the Roman Kingdom. The
various films have been selected based on their impacts on the progression and extension of the
Rome. The American audience has benefited by having the sensation of the events that took
place in ancient Rome.
