Lululemon has several weaknesses in corporate governance, that first one being their
company board structure. The best practices of corporate governance emphasize on building a
strong board structure and one way of doing this is by constantly reviewing the board mandates
and carrying out performance evaluations (Lipman & Lipman, 2006). Lululemon has failed in
carrying out performance reviews as they were a given a report on how the board of directors can
improve the corporate governance and months down the line no changes have been made.
