1. What category of ethical dilemma is involved here?
Kind of ethical dilemma remains as conflict of interest. All along, individuals that are
involved did not say the truth, as they left false impressions, took unfair merit, together with
violated the regulation with obstruction and conspiracy (Jennings, 2013). Additionally, federal
law prohibits every federal worker from accepting employment with corporation conducting
business with authority for the specific duration and they cannot negotiate while they are still in
employment.
2. What questions or models did Mr. Sear miss in choosing to recruit Ms. Druyun when he
did?
Mr. Sears concentrated on self-interest or Boeing benefiting from access to as well as
hiring Ms. Druyun. The idea of ethical egoism tends to fuel the conduct. Mr. Sears had the hope
that Boeing would win extra contracts (Welten, 2014). Just the simple newspaper test would
have assisted him reason through decision more diligently.
