Social Engineering Attacks
Social engineering is a technique of acquiring sensitive information and data through
manipulating and individual. This technique entails making individuals do things they do not
normally do. Thus, social engineering involves hacking a person rather than a computing system.
This form of engineering has, for centuries, been offering an effective technique for committing
fraud. In recent years given the rise of robust computing systems, social engineering gets used to
help attackers in orchestrating more significant attacks that cause more damages (Easttom,
