Introduction
Many of the business leaders fail to think about pressing issues which may turn dreadful on
their ventures. The leaders must evaluate issues from every perspective to come up with an elaborate
conclusion. Most of them rush their decisions without substantial evidence, and on several occasions,
they will use evidence that backs their prior beliefs (Bouygues, p.2). Lack of comprehensive thinking
makes the executive heads of businesses to be over-confident in their conclusions. Twenty years ago,
the author got an opportunity to intervene in organizations that were facing a crisis. The struggles
were mainly due to managerial challenges, the use of outdated technologies, and negligence of the
leadership. After vivid analyses, based on her prowess and experience, the main problem for these
ventures was the lack of critical thinking. Critical thinking is a skill that can be attained through
learning; the author began Reboot Foundation, which is a non-profit organization to equip people
with the skills through her experience and research work. Three elements of critical thinking are as
discussed below;
