Social Change

Social change is the progressive alteration of the patterns of behavior of a group of
people, which yields a lot of consequences (Komives & Wgner, 2016). Some of the activities
that have been known to cause social change include the abolition of the slave trade and the
industrial revolution that Is found in the modern world. It led to the shift in the way people see
the world compared to how they recognized it before the existence of certain conditions. Social
change is analyzed in patterns, and the people's behavior or attitudes change in a specific pattern.
Some of the trends that are affected include the social structure, which is the arrangement of the
way humans live and interact with each other. Social change is known to lead to a change in the
norms of a person's character. An example of a social change is when a person is always worried
over certain conditions such that it becomes normal to them. In that case, worrying is not a
disturbance of their everyday life but is just a usual act that happens to them every day. In that
