In the current world setting, creativity and originality of information are essential to both
the information holders and recipients of the information. Innovation attracts trust and confidence
from recipients and any organizations that may want to source one's Intel on a specific aspect. On
the other hand, plagiarism is the act of fabricating information to fit once perspective (Hansen,
2003). In the communication department, when plagiarism is mention, ‘Jayson Blair’ name usually
comes into the mind of many. Jayson Blair, a former New York Times reporter, was accused of
multiple plagiarism cases in the years 2003. Plagiarism is both unethical and uncalled for. It is
unethical for three main reasons.
