Act III, Scene iii (line 80)
Act 3, scene 3 is the six soliloquy in Hamlet. The basis of the scene is formed when the
guilty King Claudius has abandoned the play set by Hamlet. Hamlet set the play deliberately to
determine whether Claudius killed his father. In this scene, Hamlet has discovered the truth and
knows that Claudius is guilty. Therefore, it is time to get revenge against his father’s killer.
Claudius is the villain in the story and intends to revenge the death of this father by killing
Claudius. The theme of this scene is purely revenge. Hamlet has finally discovered the truth
