Question Description

I’m studying for my Biology class and need an explanation.

Simply say, this assignment is: You record what you eat, calculate kcals, add bars for comparison in the chart, and write a summary (interprate data: what you consumed is too much or too little) everyday for 5 days. Please have variety in diet so that your 5 day journals do not look like the same. If you skip meal(s), please state it.

Make up the foods.

FOOD JOURNAL INSTRUCTIONS (due 11pm, Thursday, 4/16) You are required to document 5 full days of food intake. You should have a total of 25 pages: 3 individual meal sheets per day (please state it if you do not eat 3 meals), 1 Nutrient Profile Chart & 1 Total Calorie Intake per day, and Summary of each day for 5 days. For each meal, complete a “FOOD JOURNAL – individual meal sheet” and “Total Kcal in box”. Write a note if the meal is skipped. Many websites provide the Source of Nutritional Information that you fill up on every meal sheet: myfitnesspal.com, calorieking.com, subway website…… For each day, complete a “Nutrient Profile Chart” and “Total Calorie Intake”. Use 4-9-4 formula (in Ch1) to calculate kcal. Calculate the RDA protein (g) consumption (in Ch7). For each day, write a full-page (double-spaced) Summary. This is a very important part of your food journal. Compare your intake to the government’s recommendations or Daily Value, the implications of your eating habits, the long term consequences of your bad habits, and how they could be improved. Basically, you interpret your data – what you consume too much or too less. TIPS “I really like well-done Nutrient Profile Charts so use colored “pencils”. The Summary is a critical part of your food journal so put some time and thought into it. You need to demonstrate to me that you understand the importance of good nutrition. You may record what you eat earlier and calculate data later on. Have a variability in diet. Keep the layout as it is. Final Answer

Hi :) Your answers are attached. Please note that it asks for name and date on each of the log pages, which I didn't fill out.

FOOD JOURNAL INSTRUCTIONS (due 11pm, Thursday, 4/16)
You are required to document 5 full days of food intake.
You should have a total of 25 pages: 3 individual meal sheets per day (please state it if you do not eat 3
meals), 1 Nutrient Profile Chart & 1 Total Calorie Intake per day, and Summary of each day for 5 days.
For each meal, complete a “FOOD JOURNAL – individual meal sheet” and “Total Kcal in box”. Write a
note if the meal is skipped. Many websites provide the Source of Nutritional Information that you fill
up on every meal sheet: myfitnesspal.com, calorieking.com, subway website……
For each day, complete a “Nutrient Profile Chart” and “Total Calorie Intake”. Use 4-9-4 formula (in Ch1)
to calculate kcal. Calculate the RDA protein (g) consumption (in Ch7).
For each day, write a full-page (double-spaced) Summary. This is a very important part of your food
journal. Compare your intake to the government’s recommendations or Daily Value, the implications of
your eating habits, the long term consequences of your bad habits, and how they could be improved.
Basically, you interpret your data – what you consume too much or too less.
TIPS “I really like well-done Nutrient Profile Charts so use colored “pencils”. The Summary is a critical
part of your food journal so put some time and thought into it. You need to demonstrate to me that you
understand the importance of good nutrition. You may record what you eat earlier and calculate data
later on. Have a variability in diet. Keep the layout as it is.
