Renewable energy sources including wind, solar and biomass have taken center stage helping to establish fossil fuel independence, as well as fending off global warming. (6.20.14 New York Times article, “Buying Into Solar Power, Without Needing Access to the Roof”). Suitable facilities housing the necessary infrastructure employing these technologies often involves the purchase or lease of hundreds of acres of viable, rural, undeveloped land. Hopefully, previously developed/disturbed "brownfield" sites will be considered first. Provide and explain your rational of how values of such land should be derived. Write a 200-250 words paragraph.
