Children's Use of Technology to Cause Health Problems.
Guiding Theory
An example of a guiding theory is the social-ecological model. It is a conceptual framework
that explains how socio-ecological arguments apply to human development. The social-ecological
models enhance the understanding of the changing interrelations among different factors. The
theory brings out how most things in the child's environment affects their growth and development.
The social-ecological approach can be applied in political and economic policies that promote the
significance of the parent's obligations in their children's growth. The theory also fosters the
societal attitudes and actions that appreciate work done on the children's behalf. Also, it can be
applied in the promotion of community health to establish high impact leverage points and the
members involved within an organization that ensure successful execution of health-promoting
actions. Also, this system is composed of some socially organized subsystems;

The microsystem entails the primary interactions a child has with his immediate
surroundings, such as parents, siblings, and other individuals. Such environments influence the
