Osteoporosis refers to the medical condition of people with weak bones. More
specifically, the bones of the people with osteoporosis become porous and this porosity makes
them fragile and highly subjected to fractures (Verbalis, Barsony & Xu, 2019). One of the
most significant characteristics and dangers of osteoporosis is that it occurs silently with no
visible symptoms until the first fracture occurs. In other words, it is after frequent and
repeated fractures, generally at the same position that osteoporosis is diagnosed.
To cure osteoporosis, the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) authorized the use of
two categories of treatment. These treatments are under the form of medications among which
