Various factors contribute to the increase in the number of obese people in the United
States of America. For instance, a lack of exercise is among the vital causes of this epidemic.
Inactivity has become the new norm as the majority of the Americans engage in less exercise
each day. Compared to the past years, the increased sedentary lifestyle has made it challenging to
burn calories. Similarly, Americans from low-income demographics struggle with obesity due to
the difficulty in accessing healthy and fresh foods. In addition to having limited access to
information about healthy eating, lower-income communities have less access to care for issues
relating to obesity. According to Taber, Leyva, & Persoskie (2015), a significant number of
people without healthcare insurance are likely not to seek the services of a weight-loss specialist.
One of the factors that contribute to the average American to weigh more compared to previous
