have made health care institutions also implement the use of systems in their operations.
Information technology in health care is used to improve the quality of care where for example a
patient’s health record can be stored and accessed from many areas ensuring they get appropriate
treatments. The use of information systems in health care has however attracted cybercriminals
who now see information held in the systems as useful for their malicious work. Health care
information systems carry sensitive information about the patient that in the wrong hands could
