Corporate Social Responsibility of Companies
Corporate Social Responsibility (C.S.R.) is a report that is usually published by companies to share
social responsibility actions and results to the public. The report addresses the commitments that
an organization has put in place and their actions different areas (Grayson, D., & Hodges, A.
(2017)). The company, through the C.S.R. report, measures their activities on society and thus, the
report provides meaningful insights to companies to help them improve their actions and enable
them to have a more impact on society. The Corporate Social Responsibility (C.S.R.) also enables
companies to communicate their goals to their stakeholders, thus enlightening them on the goals
of the company and thus make rightful decisions. The paper will focus on analysis of CSR reports
of two Saudi Arabian companies i.e. the National Commercial Bank (NCB) and Samba foundation
The National Commercial Bank (N.C.B.) also known as the AlAhli bank, is a Saudi Arabian bank.
It’s the largest bank by total assets in Saudi Arabia and largest capitalization. The bank was
established in 1953 and is now one of the largest financial institutions. The National Commercial
Bank (N.C.B.) has a stable relationship with the community, and this can be seen through efforts
the company has taken to provide support to the community. The company board of directors have
