I disagree with the statement. The position that an employee occupies does not determine
the appraisal process and objectivity of his or her performance. Usually, performance will
depend on an individual and not the position that one occupies (Bayo-Moriones, GaldonSanchez & Martinez-de-Morentin, 2019). Objectivity also depends on an individual, which
means that a person may occupy a higher position but may be subjective. Also, there is a famous
adage that states, “numbers never reveal the entire story.” In an organization, this means that
employee problems and turnover issues may not often appear in the statistics. As such, although
an employee may occupy a high position, their co0ntext of assessment is based to be the same as
that of junior colleagues, for each is entitled to fulfill a role that is not defined by numbers rather
by responsibility. It is a fact that the senior individuals may often work hard to keep the numbers
