Relationship between Nubians and Egyptians
The Nubian kingdom, which was located in present-day Sudan, is one of the Lost
Kingdoms of Africa. The kingdom is considered one of the most profound historical
civilizations as they were powerful rulers who controlled a part of what is now southern
Egypt and Sudan (Casely, 2013). The Nubians had women as rulers, and they were referred
to as Kandeces or Candaces found in ancient historical studies. The Nubians practised pottery
and archery among cattle keeping, which was also considered as wealth. The Egyptians
invaded the Nubians and begun a system of colonization.
The Egyptians invaded the Nubians from Kerma to Jebel Berkal, and they took
