NARRATOR ANALYSIS: RAYMOND CARVER AND T.S ELLIOT
Introduction
Literature is an essential aspect of our lives, and over the years, despite the revolution,
there are aspects of it that do not change. It exists in different forms like fictional writing, poems,
play, among others. As much as the world progresses and the nature of literal works change,
some aspects are lost form the past. In traditional literature, it appeared to be written more for the
elites or by the elites. At the same time, current research had to follow a set of rules that in
modern literature rarely apply. In as much as the significance of poetry has remained,
contemporary literature is freer, form a more creative and innovative aspect. In modern literature,
writing can be achieved in different forms as now, and there is the ability to produce a book as an

more in-depth compared to most writers in this era. Most of the works help us understand the
author mostly through their protagonist within the writings.
In this paper, we will be looking at two authors and their work in a bid to understand their
similarities and differences within their practices. T.S. Elliot and Raymond Carver are one of the

greatest authors who existed in the world of literature. Despite the many years since they lived,
their stories still manage to elicit emotions, understanding, and connections with people even
today. For an author, getting your work accepted by the audience is essential, but for it to live on
even generations and generations after you wrote it, then that is legendary. Though many do not
live long enough to see what happened in the future, we still acknowledge them and share their
works. While T.S. Elliot was famous for his work in poems, Raymond Craver expressed his
writings in stori...
