What was the activity all about?
The activity was about designing the constitution for the central Asian nation of
Kazookistan would consist of a written document. The constitution will be embodied in various
documents based on the tradition and precedent in judicial decisions.
The electoral system will be in form of first- past- the- post. In every general election, all
the constituencies in the country will hold separate contests. The candidates will be required to
have the biggest number of votes in their areas to be declared the winner. For candidates to
participate in the election, they have to belong to a party. The parties will be required to create a
manifesto that will be used to appeal to vote to swing seats. Each party must choose candidates for
each position so that either party can be a winner (Combe, 2014).
There should be a presidential system whereby power is shared among three coordinate
and independent branches of government: executive, judicial and legislative. The president will be
elected by the people and be accountable to them. The president shall be the head of state as well
as chief executive and shall oversee the executive officers. He or she shall also be responsible for
the nation’s defense. The judiciary and legislature shall exercise their function to prevent the chief
