Running Head: Organizational Restructuring
The company under discussion is in the aerospace sector engaging in research,
designing, construction, testing, retailing, and maintaining airplanes and their parts for both
commerce and military purposes, rotorcraft, satellites, rockets, and missiles, communication,
launch and defense systems. The goal of the company is to be the world's leading manufacturer
of airliners, armaments, security and space systems, and service suppliers of aftermarket care.
The business also proposes to be the leading manufacturing international trader to airlines
around the world and allied governments, along with fashioning cutting-edge communication
systems for customers. Subsequently, for the company to meet such goals, different managers
in the organization were tasked with devising recommendations for restructuring in the
following function areas: human resources, sales, and marketing, information technology,
production, and operations together with finance and accounting. Thus, I embarked on
conducting an organizational assessment to aid me in procuring beneficial information about
the company's achievements, locate valuable aspects that hinder or assist attainments of results,
and position ourselves in deference to the competition. I believe that human resources, sales,
and marketing, along with production and operations, are the essential departments to the
structure of the organization that needs reorganization for the company to meet its targeted
