A health care system is the organization of people and needed resources that offer health
care services to meet the health care needs of a target population. The United States does not
have universal care health programs like other countries. Back in 2013, about 65% of health fees
received payment and funds from the government. The government used various programs to
fund health care such as Medicaid, Medicare, Children’s Health Insurance and Veterans’
Healthcare Administration (Niles, 2016). The US health care system is not universally accessible
but through the publicly and privately funded programs and systems, access becomes easy. The
US ranks 27th in its levels of health care provision however, this is a decline considering that
years back it ranked at position 6 (Niles, 2018).
(3) My health care system not easily accessible has various procedures to follow to
receive the required health care services. There is the payment of a monthly health insurance fee
that ensures one's coverage then the need to go to the doctor arises, going for clinics or any
related services at the hospital. The paid insurance provides enough cover for many patients
which enables people to negotiate with the health care providers for a fee reduction on the
services offered. Most of the Americans who have access to health care insurance have
employer-sponsored plans. For the poor and the elderly, the federal government insures hem
through the established programs. In the US health services systems, some are the major players
including the insurance executives, physicians, administrators of the health care services,
