1. Briefly explain which level of requirement Holley endorses
After considering different arguments about the five levels
of disclosure by a salesperson to a potential customer, the level of
requirement endorsed by David Holley is the Mutual Benefit Rule.
In this position, Holley claims that a salesperson should provide
any relevant information to the buyer that influences the decision
of the customer to buy the product or not (Holley, 1998). In that
regard, Holley recommends the salesperson to provide the buyer
with any information required to make a reasonable and viable
decision about the product, which the customer is not aware before
making the judgment. In this level, Holley claims that the
responsibility of the seller to disclose all the necessary information
to the customer should be provided in addition to safety
information about the product.
