ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORD
An Electronic Health Record is a patient's electronic medical history. Its characterized by
being maintained by the provider over a given period. It may comprise all of the chief
administrative, clinical information that is important to the patient's care under a specific
provider. It includes demographics, notes showing progress, problems, medications, crucial
signs, medical history of the near or further past, administered vaccines, laboratory information,
and radiology records. The EHR also makes accessing information more accessible and also
arranges and ensures there is a smooth workflow of clinicians. It also has the capability of
upholding various care-related activities by using multiple interfaces either directly or indirectly,
