Ooredoo is an international company based in Qatar that deals with telecommunications
services such as mobile, content, wiles, and many others (Ooredoo, 2020a). It services the
domestic and international markets covering over 100 million customers. It is one of the largest
mobile telecommunications companies in the world. The SWOT analysis of Ooredoo will
identify the internal and external factors affecting the company operations and performance
(Gürel & Tat, 2017, 55). The factors include strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
Strengths
Ooredoo experiences internal factors that give it an advantage to perform its operations in
the market. The strengths include a strong brand image, high profits, effective rapid innovation
services, and a large market. Ooredoo is one of the largest and valuable brands in international
markets (Ooredoo, 2020b). This makes it easier for the company to introduce new services and
products to the markets. Concerning the high profits, the company sells high volumes to the
markets. Arguably, the massive sales earned the company brings colossal revenue and profits in
return. Additionally, the broad market globally makes the company come up with new products
to meet the consumer's needs.
