Drug addiction is a disease that drug seekers use drugs compulsively, unable or difficult
to control their use despite the consequences. People's use of drugs is mostly voluntary in the
beginning, but continuous and repeated drugs use interferes with an individual's brain and
resistance to the drug. During recovery, a patient may require to be in separation from the others
(Zhao, p.40). There is a chance of relapse during the recovery period; this, however, doesn't
mean that recovery doesn't happen. Addiction has a significant effect on society and health. The
brain of an individual becomes dependent on the drugs making it difficult to leave without it.
Drugs affect the brain functions. Thus, they cause euphoria and flooding the brain with
