The Coca-Cola Company is a reputable MNC that was founded in 1892. It engages in the
manufacture, sale, and distribution of sweetened carbonated beverages. The firm sells more than
2,800 products in more than 200 countries worldwide (The Coca Cola Company, 2018). Its
primary strategy is to diversify its sales by venturing into new international markets. The
company’s purpose is to refresh and make a difference in the world by developing and selling
quality beverages to consumers (The Coca Cola Company, 2018). Its vision is to satisfy
consumers’ needs by crafting quality brands and drinks. Also, the firm believes that it should
engage in production practices that have positive impacts on the planet, communities, and
people’s lives. Its mission is to generate value by inspiring moments of happiness and optimism.
Moreover, the company believes that it can only be successful in the market if it understands the
forces and trends that shape its operations. Based on its mission, the Coca-Cola Company’s
objective is to engage in initiatives that create value for consumers.
Furthermore, the organization has goals and objectives that outline the activities that it
should engage in to achieve its mission. The first goal focuses on people. It affirms that the
company strives to create a work environment that inspires and motivates its employees. The
second objective is to produce drinks and beverages that address consumers’ needs. The other
goal is that the organization focuses on nurturing “a winning network of suppliers and
consumers” (The Coca Cola Company, 2018). Also, it focuses on sustainability by engaging in
activities that have positive impacts on communities. The fifth objective that the company has is
to maximize profits to its shareholders. The Coca-Cola Company believes that it can attain its
goals through values, such as quality, diversity, accountability, and integrity. Other values are
