Bajaj auto is doing very well in the Indian market of two-wheeler and three-wheeler
commercial segments. The company has obtained significant performance goals by selling high
numbers of its products. The two-wheeler segment has seen tremendous growth in the market,
and demand for the two-wheeler motorbikes of the Bajaj is increasing every single day. The
Bajaj has sold 25, 12,945 units of two-wheelers motorbikes unit in the year 2017. The number of
motorbikes units are sold including Bajaj Pulsar 150, Pulsar 125, Pulsar NS160, Bajaj CT 100,
Bajaj Pulsar NS200, Bajaj Pulsar 180, Bajaj Dominar 250, Bajaj Platina 110, Bajaj Pulsar 220F,
Bajaj Dominar 400, Bajaj Pulsar RS 200, Bajaj CT 110, Bajaj V15, Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220,
Bajaj Discover 125, Bajaj Comfort Tec, Bajaj Avenger Street 220, Bajaj Dominar 400, Bajaj
Avenger Street 160 and Bajaj Discover 110. The year 2018 performance as compared to 2017
has proved to be more fruitful and profitable for Bajaj as the company managed to sold
32,34,890 units of two-wheeler motorbikes. The performance of the company from the year 2017
to 2018 is showing positive growth with additional units of 721,945 sold. The year 2019
performance of Bajaj auto under in two-wheeler motorbikes segment has geared the company to
achieve another milestone. The 2019 sales figures are 42, 36,873. Additional units of 1001,983
from the year 2018 to 2019 are showing remarkable achievement and performance.
Commercial vehicle performance of Bajaj auto in three-wheeler is excellent 2017 sale
figures are 4, 48,468, in 2018 the company has sold 5, 91,023 additional units of 142,555. The
year 2019 year accounted for 7, 82,630. Additional units of 191,607 from the year 2018 to 2019

revealing the positive growth in the number of sales figures of Baja under in three-wheeler
commercial segment.
The Bajaj autos performance reports are arranged to collect the data from each year's
report showing the sale figures month and year wise.
Q2- What type(s) of control of employees and production processes is/are used by your
selected company?
The employee's control is essential to know the overall performance of the organization,
identification of areas of concern, and the appropriate actions needed to cope with such issues.
Executives of the Bajaj group are very keen on the control system to apply to the employees. The
Bajaj auto is practicing strong employee behavioral control. These include the behavioral actions
of the employees and control the actions of the employees. Specific rules and processes are
utilized to dictate behavior. Executives of the Bajaj autos are keen to provide behavioral training
to employees to ensure compliance with the regulations of the company.
The production process under Bajaj autos includes mass production or assembly line
production. The different units involved in the production of different parts required in
assembling of two-wheeler motorbikes and three-wheeler commercial rickshaws in a specialized
manner. The production process includes the major production plant units of Bajaj are Akurdi
Pune plant, Chakan Pune Plant, Waluj Plant, and Pantnagar Plant. These plants are active in
different activities to design and mold the raw material into different required shapes. Each plant
is responsible for ensuring the supply of needed materials on figures needed to meet the
assignment appropriately.

As a responsible corporation, Bajaj auto is dedicated to preserving and creating a clean
environment and society. Bajaj auto is continuously ensuring to remain in complete compliance
with all the appropriate regulations and is devoted to the continual enhancement of
environmental performance. To manage environmental risks, the Bajaj auto has initiated
environmental risks management programs in its plants.


Gold awards awarded by the Quality circle forum of India on safety initiatives and safety
skit.



Installation of the roof-top solar system in the plant with a production facility of 2.4
million units, leading to a reduction of 2,037 tons of CO2e.



Around 2000 saplings are planted in the premises of plant under in environmental day
celebrations.



58% of the electricity in the plants is sourced from renewable energy sources.



Employed LED lights in the entire plant to reduce consumption.



Installation of 2nd stage RO II plant for water reprocessing in processes.

Bajaj auto is enjoying a competitive advantage in its versatile two-wheeler and threewheeler auto segments. The two-wheeler motorcycle segment has seen exceptional growth in the
Indian market as well as globally. The company has sold 2.5 million two-wheeler units in India
only. The performances of the Bajaj in Latin America are exceptional, and still the leader in
several countries. The company has successfully managed to export 1,756,656 two-wheeler
motorcycle units outside India as per February 2020 statistics. The three-wheeler commercial
segment has also seen outstanding growth, both locally and globally. The local consumption for
the three-wheeler commercial vehicles is accounted for 347,630 units as per February 2020
statistics. The three-wheeler commercial 288,415 units are exported outside of India as per
February 2020 statistics.
The Bajaj auto has geared its production and manufacturing facility by joining hands with
