Introduction
An enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, also known as an enterprise system, is
defined as a cross-functional information system, which provides an organization with deep
integration and coordination of significant processes of a business, and assists with the planning
of organizational resources. With the assistance of ERP systems, the information could flow
impeccably across an organization. Besides, various procedures from production, sales, logistics,
manufacturing, along with human resources, could be integrated into broad business processes of
an organization (Ali & Miller, 2017). At first glance, ERP systems appear to be a silver bullet for
the problems of every company. In SugarSquared, Inc. implementing an enterprise system will
provide the organization with the opportunity to re-engineer the business processes, organize the
systems of geologically dispersed regions, consolidate information, and empower their users by
granting them access to all data of the company in real-time. From chapter 10, it is needless to
