Role of a Project Manager
In developing the charter project, the project manager will be given the authority to use
the required resources in undertaking the project activities. The project charter provides ay for
the managers to commit to the project hence allowing for the successful project implementation
(Mark & Lurie, 2018). The project charter will highlight the critical roles of all individuals
involved in the project. The scope of the project is well outlined in the project charter hence
making it easier for the project manager to offer the precise instructions; this ensures minimal
deviation from the proposed project specifications.
In the development process of a project charter, the team members have different roles.
The team members can learn on different roles that they can incorporate in the manager's roles.
This includes identifying the authority that that project manager has on the entire project. This
will aid the project team in recognizing the power that the manager has in running the project
that includes offering instructions to the team members as well as allocating tasks to individuals’
members depending on their job position (Demirkesen & Ozorhon, 2017). The members through
the charter are also able to understand that the project manager is responsible for authorizing the
