HUMAN RESOURCE PRACTISES

Human resource practices were adopted on the end of the 19th century through
the creation of welfare offices.
These were majorly women positions which were aimed at protecting the
rights of girls and women at the work-place.
This was majorly influenced by need for better employee’s services, pressure
from labor movements and trade unions, and the harshness that was being
experienced in the industrial employments.
Over the years, the need to value employees and incorporate them as a main
resource was achieved in the mid-1980s.
