The plane goes against headwind so the planes velocity= plane speed -wind speed
When he flies back he goes with the wind: velocity=plane speed+wind speed
Now we make our equations:
320=p[lane speed -wind speed
480=plane speed+wind speed
Add both eqns:
substitute back into second eqn:
So: Plane Speed=400 mi/hr, Wind Speed=80 mi/hr
