How long would it take a car starting for rest and acclerating uniformly in a straight

 at 5 m/s squared to cover a distance of 200 meters

Answer

Accelaration=Distance/time (A=D/T)  where, A is Accelaration,D is distance and T is time

            Time=distance/acceleration (To get T, multiply both sides by T and divide both sades by A)

             time=200m/5m/s

            time=40 seconds , the car will take 40sec. to cover 200m
