Graphs of Equations and Inequalities

Question Description

In what ways is solving inequalities the same as solving equations, and in what ways is it different? Also include at least one real-life application for inequalities

Final Answer

solving inequalities is like solving equations since we need to find a value of a variable which will make a given condition true, for instance x>2 for an inequality and x=2 for  an equation. solving an inequality can be also different from solving equation since when solving these inequalities we must pay attention to the direction of the inequality sign. inequalities can be used in manufacturing to optimize production.
