I have a 50kg carbon fibre box, what pressure can be exerted to strap it down so it doesn't move. When lifted what is the pressure exerted on bolts to lift the box?

Aug 8th, 2014

P=F/A G

Given 50kg.

therefore

weight= 50*10

=500N

A= Unit area

P=500/1

=500N/M

Since  action force = reaction forces

pressure to strap it down = pressure exerted on bolts to lift the box=500 N/M
