An interesting parallel may be drawn between the electronic media and human communication in that without a power source, or power supply there will be no communication as the computers, the fax machines, the phones and all other instruments of communication fail.
The result is the same for communication within companies, or any other private, formal or informal human networks. The effectiveness of the communication system is based on the power that is attributed by the users toward the governing body that places the communication process in place. Whether the prevailing area being analyzed is based on how messages are taken for absent colleagues and passed on, or business messages that arrive on a private phone while parents are away at work, through to the information that is communicated on our tax returns, all comes down to the power that is attributed to the governing body that put the system in place.
