Qualitative research methods provide both descriptive and inferential information and
originate from the social and behavioral sciences (Lacey et al., 2016). The design of the research
method is in such a way that it reveals the behavior and perception of the target audience about a
particular topic of interest. This kind of research method comprises various designs, such as case
study, ethnography and grounded theory (Perrin, 2016). They provide insightful information that
provides a detailed report that is essential in ensuring that a sound evaluation is carried out.
However, these qualitative research methods differ concerning the quantity, and quality of
information that they present (Lacey et al., 2016). I have experience of using this research method
in collecting data on a study of mental health disorders among children
For instance, in the grounded theory, qualitative research designs the researcher endeavors
to find the theory behind an event. The researcher must formulate a series of codes to build on a
theory behind the event (Sauro, 2015). This design helped in the construction of models that help
