Minimum of 150 words with in-text citation(s) and reference(s).
Explanation & Answer

Disabilities Education Act’s (IDEA) has defined multiple disabilities as a simultaneously impairment for example intellectual disability-orthopaedic impairment and intellectual disability-blindness. The combination requires high level of attention that cannot be accommodated in any of the organized special education program. Deaf-blindness is not included in the definition as it has its own classification. Hence the student who is diagnostic by multiple impairments requires special requirements which cannot be provided in a normal classroom. There are many educational challenges that can face both instructors and the students that can include (a)health and safety concerns, (b) setting up an environment that suits the student intelligence level, (c) student ability to perform in the classroom setting, (d) difficulty in maintaining a good level of communication whether between the child with the teachers or between the child and his other classmates. In other words, the environment will not help in enhancing the child skills or personal d development and may create emotional disturbances.
