REPLY TO  This course, Finance for Managers has helped me to understand the various finance concepts like budgeting, managing risk and other financial related decision. I could pretty much relate the concepts that were taught in the course to professional lives. For example: we discussed about stocks and stock options in this course. I do maintain a portfolio of various stocks and I learned the how to choose the stock and a good decision making on what stock to buy depends on how much knowledge you have with respect to the company. Other concepts like credit risk, how to make budget decision without the risk of losing money (Brealey et al., 2020). Any organization, regardless of whether it is small or big, needs cash to operate. To bring in cash, it should initially spend money on supplies, gear and offices, and representative wages and pay rates. Hence, money is basic to the accomplishment, everything being equal. It may not be as obvious as showcasing or creation, yet management of finances is the key to the organization prosperity (Brown, 1990). As the course is all about finance, I believe a great leader should develop below financial skills, no matter what (“The essentials of finance and accounting for non-financial managers,” 2011). Understanding of Financial Statements: Financial reports are significant assets for estimating the general wellbeing of an organization. In case you're looking to assess the presentation of your area of expertise or association, there are three key reports you should realize how to read and interpret. Ratio Analysis, Cash flow management. Forecasting: Finance is inherently forward-looking.
