group which is formed by common attributes. In other words, these are the ways of life or values
which have been developed by that society, also called culture traits, they help the tourists to
differentiate them from other groups in other geographical location. In this case, stereotypes
make a general summary of the common traits shared by a specific group to be used by any
visiting person or tourist to evaluate those attributes that are different from his or her cultural
traits.
In this case, stereotypes are essential for visiting tourists before making their journey
because; they help them to make general guesses of what they are likely to encounter or the
experiences while in a foreign land. Thus, it ensures that they learn of their host's experiences
and their way of living. Again, by learning the destination way of living from the stereotype,
tourists also get informed on how to conduct themselves. It is important because it allows tourists
to learn how they are expected to act among the different social groups. Thus, stereotypes have a
wide range of advantages to the tourists, from predicting the destination ways of living that help
to make necessary guesses of the experience we are likely to encounter in ensuring that we
