Since , perimeter of rectangle is P=2(l+w)

Let, the width is x cm then length must be x+8

Now, put these values in P=2(l+w)

                                      or,76=2((x+8)+x)

                                       or,76=2(2x+8)

                                        or,76=4x+16

                                        or,76-16=4x

                                        or,60=4x 

                                          or,x=15 means width =15cm & length=15+8=23cm

                                          Therefore, dimension, length=23cm & width=15cm
