Explanation & Answer

There are many reasons why anecdotal evidence is hard to ignore. Unlike the complex research based evidence, an anecdotal one provides a short story that can lead to factual information. It is easier for people to understand anecdotal evidence because its simple and is based on reports that people heard or simple observations.  Anecdotal evidence is not reliable since the information is based on opinions and not facts. Casual observations from anecdotal evidence do not guarantee quality work that is often searched by researchers. Since information is not searched by scientific means, it becomes difficult for researchers to get factual information hence arrive to their own conclusions.
